Mohawk Valley Association of REALTORS® Raises $750 for Evelyn’s House

At the Mohawk Valley Association of REALTORS® (MVAR) annual REALTOR® Safety event, sponsored by the MVAR Education Committee and held this year on September 22 at the Fort Schuyler Club, members entered a raffle to win one of two InvisiWear® safety keychains, with proceeds of the raffle to assist ICAN’s Evelyn’s House. Including matched funds from the Association, MVAR members raised a total $750 and presented the check to Evelyn’s House Housing Manager Rosetta St. Peter and ICAN’s Director of Transitional Services Lisa Reginelli on October 27, 2022. 

About Evelyn’s House

Evelyn’s House, a program of ICAN, is a joint transitional and rapid rehousing program for homeless young women, aged 16-24, who are pregnant and/or parenting. They provide a safe, nurturing home with supportive services and community resources for these young women and their children during and after pregnancy, so they can become empowered during this transitional life moment.
