Healthy Families Program Supervisor
Healthy Families of Montgomery and Schoharie Counties
Integrated Community Alternatives Network (ICAN), a Community-based wraparound provider of Social and Mental Health services with an emphasis on treating the client in a family context, is currently seeking innovative and experienced applicants to fill a Full-Time Healthy Families Program Supervisor position, in Montgomery/Schoharie counties. This position is located in Amsterdam, NY.
The Healthy Families Program Supervisor provides reflective supervision, coaching, and oversight to frontline Healthy Families staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, strength-based and family-centered services consistent with Healthy Families America Best Practice Standards, New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) requirements, and agency expectations.
The annual salary generally ranges between $47,000-$50,000. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
Working hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday for a 35-hour workweek. Must be available occasionally on evening and/or weekends, as needed programmatically.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide reflective supervision, coaching, support, and performance management to assigned Family Resource & Support Specialists.
- Conduct and document weekly individual supervision sessions to promote professional growth, staff well-being, and fidelity to the Healthy Families model.
- Monitor staff performance and provide timely feedback, recognition, coaching, and corrective action as appropriate. Inform Program Manager if additional disciplinary action may be needed.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts.
- Support staff in managing complex family situations, crises, safety concerns, and service barriers.
- Foster a supportive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for frontline staff regarding daily operations, scheduling, and service delivery concerns.
- Ensure staff have the tools, resources, and support necessary to perform their roles effectively.
- • In partnership with the Program Manager, oversee day-to-day program service delivery.
- Ensure services are provided in accordance with Healthy Families America standards, OCFS requirements, agency policies, contractual obligations, and best practices.
- Support staff in building and maintaining strengths-based relationships with families.
- Review home visit documentation, assessments, service plans, and case records for quality, timeliness, and compliance.
- Monitor caseload distribution and workload management to promote effective service delivery.
- Conduct regular record reviews, home visit observations, and other quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to identify operational challenges, implement solutions, and achieve program performance targets.
- Conduct family assessments, screenings, and enrollment activities as needed to support program operations and maintain timely access to services.
- Maintain a limited direct service caseload during periods of staff vacancy, leave, transition, or increased program need to ensure continuity of services and compliance with Healthy Families America standards.
- Identify program supplies/resource needs, and make recommendations regarding program purchases to support effective service delivery.
Education/Experience
- Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Early Childhood Education, Public Health, Family Studies, or a related field; -OR
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children and families; OR Less than a Bachelor’s degree with commensurate Healthy Families experience.
- Valid NYS Driver's License is required.
