Kids Herkimer Program Manager

Integrated Community Alternatives Network (ICAN), a Community-based Wraparound provider of Social and Mental Health services with emphasis on treating the client in a family context, is currently seeking innovative and experienced applicants to fill a Kids Herkimer Program Manager position.
The Kids Herkimer Program Manager is responsible for providing quality assurance and oversight of the Kids Herkimer Intensive Preventive, PINS Preventive, and EIDP programs while adhering to and promoting the philosophy and mission of the company by performing the following duties.
The annual salary generally ranges between $55,000-$60,000. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
Working hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday for a 35-hour workweek. Must be available occasionally on evening and/or weekends, as needed programmatically.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day oversight of the Kids Herkimer programs and Family Service Coordinators and their duties.
- Directly supervises the Family Service Coordinators and provides team leadership.
- Works closely with Herkimer County Department of Social Services and Herkimer County Family Court to ensure compliance and best practice for overall program.
- Assists with overall planning and direction of the program.
- Ensures compliance with documentation standards, program and agency policies consistent with the agency’s mission and vision.*
- Enhances the program’s capacity to provide a high standard of practice, by fostering good working relationships and providing consultation, technical assistance and support to the Family Service Coordinators
- Provides feedback to the Program Director in regards to the needs of the program and means to achieve the overall program expectations of the agency and the funder
- Ensures that all incidents are reported according to the agency policy and procedures
- Prepares reports and maintains data relative to the responsibilities and performance of Family Service Coordinators.
- Provides ongoing training to support developmental needs of staff.
- Provides leadership in the development and implementation of case management best practices and trainings. Collaborate with other staff as appropriate to implement effective and efficient case management practices agency wide.*
- Reviews and compiles appropriate records and reports as required for the program.
- Networks with community organizations and works to develop community contacts to promote the understanding of program services.
- Establishes a work environment that creates positive communication between employees and assimilates new employees to the ICAN’s culture, values and mission.
- Additional duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in human services or mental health field from a four-year college or university preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience providing service coordination for community-based services to individuals, preferably children, with special needs.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid NYS Driver's License is required.
