ICAN Hosts Statewide SNUG Training

ICAN was honored to host a statewide SNUG S.E.T. Training session in our new Community Room at our Family Resource Center on December 16, 2022. SNUG trainers and team members from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Syracuse, Albany, Mount Vernon, the Bronx, Poughkeepsie and more convened in Utica for the training and then an outreach session in Cornhill.
The SNUG program is new to the Utica area. It works to reduce shootings and save lives by mediating conflicts to prevent retaliation, mentoring high-risk youth, organizing marches and events and engaging neighbors.
