ICAN Opens Syracuse Office Space

We are proud to announce the expansion of our service footprint with the opening of a new office at 1010 James Street in Syracuse.
This milestone represents the latest phase of a dynamic collaboration between ICAN and the Jon Diaz Community Center (JDCC) and serves as a prelude to the construction of the JDCC in nearby Nedrow, NY.
A ribbon cutting and open house event was held on Monday, June 2, 2205.
JDCC Founder, NFL running back and Onondaga Central School graduate Latavius Murray and ICAN CEO/Executive Director Steven Bulger were in Syracuse for the opening, along with members of ICAN leadership, JDCC board members, representatives from Centerstate CEO and our new neighbors in the building from InterFaith Works of Central New York.
The relationship with ICAN will allow the JDCC staff and board to focus on the community center's development while ICAN focuses on the center's operational structure. Given ICAN's proven track record of managed service support, the Nedrow community will receive quality services and programs.

About JDCC
The Jon Diaz Community Center will provide a safe and accessible space for community health and wellbeing. Inspired by the life and legacy of Jon Diaz, the center is a hub of transformative opportunities, bringing diverse community partners together to deliver critical programs and resources focused on empowering youth and families in the Village of Nedrow and surrounding areas. The JDCC will serve as a place for people to connect, collaborate, and create positive changes in the Nedrow community by addressing the US Department of Health and Human Services social determinants of health and recommendations included in the Onondaga County Health Assessment and Improvement Plan.
