Meet our New Hires

It’s been a great summer here and we are happy to introduce you to our summer hires! This group has such diverese talents and interests. See who are the cliff divers and waterfall climbers in Jamaica, who performed at Carnegie Hall and how many furbabies are in their families!

MJ Allen
HR Generalist

MJ has been working in the non-profit field for 8 years. He studied English in college but still needs to look up words all the time and is a master chocolate chip cookie maker! His family consists of his partner, cats and about 30+ family members he regularly talks to.

Interventionist

Amina climbed a 900ft waterfall in Jamaica -as a scaredy cat! She played most sports as a child only to realize she was not sporty at all and she thinks the Pacific NY is her happy place but she hasn’t had a chance to get there yet. Her idea of family is her immediate family, 3 nephews and her two best friends.

Trina Buckingham
Homeless Family Care Manager

Trina is a Cheer Coach who loves family game night and outdoor activities. Her family is all the people that are uplifting and add peace to her life.

Jenelle Fallon
Youth Care Coordinator

Jennelle can say the alphabet backwards in less then 5 seconds! She was adopted on April 12, 1998 and that date was the first tattoo she ever got. Her favorite place to hang out with her friends is at the movies. Since she does not know her family by “blood” she considers anyone that she loves and cares for to be her family!

Kristine Gaw
Community Based Support Specialist

Kristine loves live music, it’s her favorite activity. She was previously a chef before she started working with kids and likes to forage for cooking ingredients. Her family includes her fur babies, given and family and chosen family members.

Ryan Gerling
Youth Care Coordinator

Ryan has performed at Carnegie Hall and is an avid Disney Traveler. He has also been cliff jumping in Jamaica. His family consists of his wife, 2 boys, their dog, his sister-in-law and two nieces!

Timothy Huey
Youth Care Coordinator

Tim enjoys Yoga and participates in it four to five times a week. He is also involved in many of our local theater organizations and is currently growing a lime tree in his spare bedroom. His family is his core group of friends.

Kristie Hotaling
Adult Care Coordinator

Kristie loves Florida, is an animal lover and her favorite food is Italian. Her family is her husband, four children and all her animals.

Sa Me Lar
Adult Care Coordinator

Sa Me fills her cup by helping people and watching them improve and grow! She is a cat person and got to travel to Thailand last year and pet a tiger. Her family includes her husband, mom, sister, 3 cats (Coco, Peanut, and Boba), her friends, partner and his family.

Alexandra Losario
Family and Community Based Services Specialist

Alexandra has a miniature dachshund named Gracie. She loves baseball and is planning to go to all 30 stadiums and her favorite place she has traveled to is Italy. Her family is all of the loved ones around her and, of course, Gracie.

Adult Care Coordinator

Lesly truly enjoys helping people and the best laughter, which is a good belly laugh. She has 2 beautiful and successful daughters, 4 grandchildren, a fiance and his family, her father and 2 sisters to make up her family.

School Based Trainer

Kristy loves to read and work with children and she has also gone skydiving! Her family is her husband, a son that is 7, a daughter that is 2 and their 2 cats.

Hannah Pierce
Adult Care Coordinator

Hannah has taken a trip to Turk and Caicos Islands and loves going camping in Old Forge. Her dog's name is Cooper and he is an 8 year old Shihpoo. She knows that family extends to friends and anyone who supports her in life.

Taylor Spellman
Community Based Support Specialist

Taylor has played roller derby, loves to ski with her family and adores Harry Potter everything including the books and movies. Her kids, husband and pets make up her family.

Haley Wood
Wellness Coordinator

She has two sons, 5 and 2, recently became a licensed social worker and loves penguins. Her family is made up of her fiance and two boys.
