Happy Summer! Here at ICAN we kicked off summer with new team members! Our new hires are ready to work towards ICAN’s mission of Keeping Families Together. Read on to learn more about their experiences and talents and how they work to change the community!

Isabelle Alexander-Klaboe
Director of IPA Operations

Isabelle is a passionate traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures and trying local cuisines, including exotic dishes like scorpions! In addition to her love for travel and food, she is also a dedicated gamer and serves as a Dungeon Master for Dungeons and Dragons. Isabelle is an artist at heart and began her academic journey in art therapy. She prefers to work with oils or acrylics when painting. Her main support system includes her husband, son, mom, and aunt.

Elis DeLia
Graphic Design and Production Specialist

Elis has been playing the drums for over twenty years. He loves to go snowboarding in the winter and skateboarding in the summer. Elis's greatest accomplishment is being a great father to two little boys, a husband, and a pup-dad to his Great Dane!

Sara L Fairbairn
Youth Care Coordinator, Children’s Care Management

Sara loves spending her time teaching and advocating for children. Her family and friends are her world! Hiking in the Adirondacks is her favorite activity outside of work. She loves spending time with her daughter Lily and her dogs and cats!

Mia Lopez
Behavior Specialist, Utica City School District

Mia adores music festivals, journaling, and singing. She cherishes her close-knit family.

Lisa Mang
Adult Care Coordinator, Adult Care Management

Lisa is a Navy veteran and a grandmother who enjoys working out and spending time with her family. She has two daughters, their fiancés, grandchildren, a cat, and a dog.

Chrystel Maurey
Adult Care Coordinator, Adult Care Management

Chrystel enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her pets outside of work. She appreciates ICAN’s culture of prioritizing herself and her family!

Wagner Mazariegos Morales
Interventionist, Home-Based Crisis Intervention

Wagner is a huge fan of Electronic Dance Music (EDM). He was the only baritone in elementary school who made it to NYSSMA. Outside of work, he is an explorer of root beer. So far, his favorite comes from a pizzeria in NYC. His family includes his wife, two dogs, two cats, and a turtle.

Stephanie McCumber
Community Based Support Specialist, SPIN

Stephanie has been a hairdresser in Oneida County for over fifteen years. She is an art and music fanatic with a deep passion for animals. Stephanie’s family includes her five furry friends, her boyfriend, and her immediate family. Her dad is her best friend, and she enjoys spending time with her brother and niece.

Tynita Moore
IPA Specialist

Tynita is a book enthusiast and a movie lover. She recently adopted her first cat. She has two sons, a daughter-in-law, and granddaughters.

Danielle Niznik
Resource & Support Specialist, Healthy Families Oneida County

Danielle's favorite place to visit is Pigeon Forge, TN. She loves spending time with her two sons, aged 5 and 1.5 years old, her friends, and pets. She co-owns a construction business and manages the paperwork. Danielle's family includes her kids, pets, boyfriend, and his children.

Isabella Rock
Behavioral Specialist, School Based Services

Isabella enjoys hiking and savoring scenic views. She is a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology. Isabella is a native of Utica, NY!

Brandy Torres
Adult Care Coordinator, Adult Care Management

Brandy has run eight marathons, four Boilermakers, and countless 5K races. She also loves to travel (palm trees are a bonus!). She culturally identifies as Puerto Rican and Honduran. Her family and friends are her support system.
