SNUG Receives Proclamation from NYS Governor Hochul

Carli Rightmier, Regional Representative for NYS Governor Kathy Hochul, visited SNUG headquarters to spend some time with their team learning about their work – their successes and challenges, and the reduction in gun violence and increase in SNUG participation amongst the highest risk individuals that we are seeing here in Utica.

Carli presented the team with a Proclamation which acknowledges SNUG’s work in gun violence reduction in the City of Utica, recognizes the effectiveness of their work and spotlights the collective work of programs like theirs doing the work throughout New York State.
